Terms of application
- Fuel surcharge:
- Fuel surcharge of JPY ¥9,500 and an insurance surcharge of JPY ¥300 per flight sector will be added to the fares between Japan and New Zealand.
The combined amount of these surcharges will be shown on the ticket as the tax code YQ.

- 1 January 2010
- Date of approval:
- 9 September 2009
- Effective until:
- 31 March 2010
- Conditions:
- The surcharge amount will be applied to adults, children and infants. The surcharge is also applied to reward tickets. If tickets are required to be refunded, the cancellation fee is not applied to the surcharge.
Conditions of revision
Air New Zealand will review Singapore Kerosene jet fuel price on every May, August, November and February, and apply to the governments for the revision of the surcharge of each period shown in Table 1 when the average price of the recent 3 consecutive months will be lower than the prices shown in Table 2. When this average price goes lower than USD50 per 1 barrel, we will remove the fuel surcharge.
