We've simplified our baggage policy across the network, including simplifying our excess bag rates.
The charges stated below apply to Air New Zealand operated flights only and are based on per bag/piece, per one way journey. If your flight is operated by an Air New Zealand partner airline, you will need to check the rates with the airline operating the service.
For international travel the checked baggage allowance is one piece for Economy, two pieces for Premium Economy and three pieces for Business (up to 23kg each piece).
