To respond to the high price of jet fuel, Air New Zealand may apply a fuel surcharge to our customers as follows:

Terms of application
The surcharge amount will be applied to adults, children and infants, except those infants not occupying a seat. The surcharge is also applied to reward tickets. If tickets are required to be refunded, the cancellation fee is not applied to the surcharge.
Conditions of revision
Air New Zealand will review Singapore Kerosene jet fuel price every February, April, June, August, October and December and will apply to the government for the revision of the surcharge of each period shown in Table 1 when the average price of the recent 2 consecutive months is lower than the prices shown in Table 2. When this average price drops lower than USD50 per barrel, we will remove the fuel surcharge.
