How many Status Points do I need to earn before I can bank Status Points for next year?

If you earn between 1350 and 2000 Status Points in any year as a Gold Elite member, you can bank up to 650 of those Status Points to help you retain your status the following year. For example, if you earn 1810 Status Points in one year, you'll bank 460 Status Points that could be applied to help you retain Gold Elite status in the next year.

How long do my banked Status Points last?

The Status Points that you banked in the previous year are the points that will be used to help you retain your status, and they last 12 months.

How do I earn a Gold Elite banked year?

By earning over 2000 Status Points in any membership year as a Gold Elite Member. Your banked year will be applied automatically the first time you don't have enough Status Points to retain elite status.

How many banked years can I earn?

You can bank one bonus year every membership year. There's no limit to how many Gold Elite years you can bank, and better still, there's no expiry date on the years you bank.

Can I bank Status Points and bank a Gold Elite year in the same year?

No, once you've earned over 2000 Status Points, you'll automatically receive a free year of Gold Elite status, so you won't need to bank any Status Points.
