How to Conveniently Select Connecting Flights
When you use our multistop booking tool, connecting flights for your simple return trips can be selected as you like. This is highly convenient when you want to leave an ample amount of time to connect to your next flight when transferring at Auckland to a domestic flight within New Zealand, or to select a connecting flight at Narita or Haneda.

If selecting a connecting flight from a regional airport to Tokyo (Narita/Haneda)
For example, when traveling from Fukuoka to Auckland with a stopover in Tokyo, select a flight departing Fukuoka.
1. Select departure and arrival locations in Japan
From the International multistop booking screen Build your own trip tab, select Fukuoka for departure location and Tokyo for arrival location for (1) under Your multistop itinerary.
2. Select departure and arrival locations from Tokyo to New Zealand
For (2) under Your multistop itinerary, select Tokyo for departure location, and select Auckland for arrival location.
3. Select departure date
Select the same departure date for (1) and (2) under Your multistop itinerary (Example: 1 November 2017).
4. Select return flight
For (3) under Your multistop itinerary, select Auckland for departure location and Fukuoka for arrival location of the return flight, and select the departure date. Finally, select passengers, service class, etc., and click the Search button.
5. Select desired flight
Connecting flights departing Fukuoka for Tokyo on Wed, 01 Nov. 2017 will be displayed under Select Flights. Select your preferred flight.
If selecting a domestic connecting flight from Auckland to a destination within New Zealand
For example, when traveling from Tokyo to Christchurch with a stopover in Auckland, select a flight departing from Auckland.
1. Select departure and arrival locations from Japan to New Zealand
From the International multistop booking screen Build your own trip tab, select Tokyo for departure location and Auckland for arrival location for (1) under Your multistop itinerary.
2. Select departure and arrival locations from Auckland to another location in New Zealand
For (2) under Your multistop itinerary, select Auckland for departure location, and select Christchurch for arrival location.
3. Select departure date
Under Your multistop itinerary, select the departure date from Tokyo for (1) (Example: 1 November 2017), and select the departure date from Auckland for (2) (Example: 2 November 2017).
4. Select return flight
For (3) under Your multistop itinerary, select Christchurch for departure location and Tokyo for arrival location of the return flight, and select the departure date. Finally, select passengers, service class, etc., and click the Search button.
5. Select desired flight
Connecting flights departing Auckland for Christchurch on Thu, 02 Nov. 2017 will be displayed under "Select Flights." Select your preferred flight.
